What is Respite Care?
Respite Care is a less than a 30-day short-term stay at Mariposa Point. Primary caregivers can take a break for a few days, or this program can be used as an assisted living or memory care trial period. As a respite resident, your loved one has access to all of the services and programs our communities have to offer, including medication management, assistance with the activities of daily living, health monitoring, all meals and refreshments, and our Life Engagement program.
Our day respite program allows primary caregivers to take some time during the day to care for themselves, go to lunch with friends, take care of appointments, or spend the day relaxing. Our compassionate care partners will involve your loved one in Mariposa’s community life. All meals, snacks, and refreshments throughout the day.
A care evaluation is required before respite stays may be accommodated.
